Accountability
Complaints
Optic & Frame corrects errors openly. When a factual error is confirmed, we fix the article and append a dated correction note describing what changed. We do not silently rewrite published stories. This page covers complaints about our coverage more broadly.
How to complain
Send your complaint through our contact page. Please include the article URL, what is wrong, and, where you can, the correct information or a source that supports your complaint.
What happens next
We verify the claim against sources. Confirmed errors are corrected with a dated note on the article; if the error materially changes the story, the note says so. We do not publish the names of people who report corrections. Matters of interpretation or taste are editorial judgment, not corrections, but we still read those messages.
Factual errors
If your complaint is about a factual error, you can also report it directly under our corrections policy. Both routes reach the publication and are handled the same way.
